Updates

 We are continuously working on keeping PepX up-to-date. Below you can find the list of changes:

  • 4th of December 2009: we have detected 48 / 1428 complexes (3%) with a peptide containing at least one disulfide bond and annotated this in the PDB page (for example, see PDB 1YK0). In those cases, the peptide probably adopts a fold in isolation and thus probably qualifies better as a "mini-protein". We are reworking our definition of peptide, and for more information you can check the Methodology.
  • October 2009: launch of the PepX website together with publication
